Fremont Street in Everything I love about Las Vegas.

Fun Fact: Fremont Street was the first paved street in Las Vegas! It is home to the largest TV in the world and it is nicknamed Glitter Gulch.

You can have a lot of free fun on Fremont (and other places on the Strip)! There are lights and sounds and movement and gambling (of course!). The drinks are cheaper, too!

To see the sights and sounds of Fremont, watch the video below!

Who are you people?

[singing] YEAH! – Oh, am I at the wrong part?

Yep.

[singing] I’ll keep you by my side with my superhuman might, Kryptonite. Yeah! UGH!

[singing] Kryptonite. YEAH!!! [laughter]

Flashing lights. Cheap drinks. and Pappy. That’s right we’re on Fremont Street in Las Vegas.

Before heading to Fremont Street, we were hungry so we went to Secret Pizza at the Cosmopolitan. It’s a New York style pizza place with a walk-up counter where you can order a slice or a whole pie you can take up to your room.

So we’re going to Secret Pizza. I don’t know if you can hear this. I hope you can, but shhh it’s a secret. It’s in the Cosmopolitan, though. It’s not much of a secret. Where is it? It’s right here!

There’s no signage for Secret Pizza. You just get online in a hallway lined with records by the likes of Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra.

After Secret Pizza, we made our way to Fremont Street. And one of the most awe-inspiring things about Fremont Street is the huge television that’s located directly above you for a large stretch of it. Fun fact: it’s the world’s largest T.V. Also, you can zip line! Seriously, it’s really awe-inspiring, but after a little bit of T.V. viewing, we decided to head over to the Corduroy for a drink.

We’re here in front of the Corduroy, which is apparently the home of the world famous Jame-O Habanero Pickleback. Now, if you’ve never had a Pickleback, it is delicious and you’re going to love it. So, we’re going to go inside and have one. Come in, y’all!

The inside of Corduroy is a dark, comfortable, groovy place and you never want to leave. The bartenders will keep pouring you drinks as long as you want them and they’ll discuss with you the benefits of pickle juice all day.

Okay, so we’re about to take the famous Jame-O Habanero Pickleback. You take the Jameson first and then we take the habanero pickle juice. Are you excited?

It’s very dark. I’m sorry. We’re sorry. Alright, ready?

Salud.

Salud.

Good, right?

Wow!

Ed, are you sure you don’t want to try it?

I could just drink the pickle juice. That was awesome.

We left Corduroy and did a little more people and street performer watching. And, dude, there are so many cool people out there doing some really cool stuff!

He’s really good!

Yeah, I know!

And with that lap dance, we say “Bye-bye, Fremont Street” and “Hello, Strip” with a new video out next week.

So tell me: Have you ever been to Fremont Street? What is your favorite thing to do? Let me know in the comments!
